Maria Victoria T. Cortez

Mavic is the Managing Director of Ateneo CORD and concurrent Director for Leadership Development. Prior to joining Ateneo CORD, she was HR Manager for Store Operations at Goldilocks Bake Shop Inc. where she started her HR career as HR Officer for Manpower Planning and Development in 1997. After two years in the company, she was tasked to manage the Store Operations Training Department that’s responsible for the technical training of crew and management personnel for the entire chain. She continued to be an HR and OD consultant to Goldilocks and other clients after she had left the company in 2003. She taught Management and Psychology courses for four years at the College of the Holy Spirit where she graduated with a BS degree in Commerce major in Business Management. She holds a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is currently taking her PhD in Leadership Studies at the Ateneo de Manila University where she is also a part-time faculty.
